Same here. For the blizzard I had to either use my time or not get paid, even though we could not drive here because the roads were closed.

 

Ya it's lame but whatever. In cases like that I work from home. I just don't get much done when working from home, especially with the wife and baby home when it's bad out

 

Try that same thing with 4 kids 3 of them at home

Considering selling my truck to get one with ...gasp....4 doors and an AT. Not a huge fan of having the carseat in the passenger seat. Wife keeps pushing me to get a tundra crewmax. While neat I don't need a land yacht. Really would like to find a decent reframed 1st gen dcab w/trd package.

I wish I was! Unfortunately a new snowblower is about item number 3450194 on my list.

Spent about an hour and a half on the driveway tonight. I need to do the roof tomorrow night, I just didn't have it in me tonight to do it. Hopefully that doesn't come back to bite me.

Just out of curiosity, did you test drive any of the others when you bought your Tundy?

 

I consistently get 17.5 mpg. I test drove the Chevy and ford. I didn't like the way I fit in the Chevy, my knees were too close to the dash. The ford wasn't bad but I wanted the fx4 with appearance package so the price was too high.

I hear you about the Chevy, I'm short so I fit in them well but their dashes are pretty vertical below the steering wheel. Not bad with the Tundra, you must have a light foot.

 

Thanks. 3 of my neighbors have them and love them. I know I would like one too, not sure I can justify a full size though.

I parked next to a new gmc canyon denali on Sunday. Not going to lie, it was a good looking truck. Don't think I would buy one, but definitely looked good in person

 

I fit in my 1st gen xtra cab, so I'm sure I'd fit in any full size

A friend has a new Silverado, also a nice looking truck. I fit just fine.

 

70 mph up 495 from Norton to Route 9 everyday. It is down to 17 recently due to the shitty winter blend.
