How are uniball ucas going to be safer than LR ucas? SPC fixed the bushing issue which was why a few sets of then broke.

-6 here this morning. Ahhhh, March. Spring is in the air!

Wait, that's my breath. Never mind.

Supposed to warm up here this weekend and next week, though. Time to go help my parents start tapping Maples this weekend.

I thought I saw a high of 50 next Wednesday, that'll make it feel like spring is actually coming

I saw that on the news this morning too. Will be nice. All the snowmelt will help my lake full back up that much faster

Looking forward to daylight savings and the first day of spring. I hope it is a slow melt for all this snow

    Oops.
I did that with my Leatherman a few years back. I pulled the knife out of my pocket before I got out of the car, but completely forgot about how the Leatherman on my belt has a knife blade on it (I never use the knife, since I carry a pocket knife)

Used to live in Westboro after college and used to go Kayak/fish and mtn bike there. Middle of that lake has some interesting cross breezes.

Haha yes it does. It's pretty awesome for kayak fishing though. Lots of awesome underwater features for fishies to hide in and to keep powerboats out. I only go there a few times a year, mapsenock is 50' behind my house. Makes it almost a chore to go anywhere else when all I have to do is throw my fishing stuff in my yak and go.

Does the town control the water level of that lake (Mapsenock)? Every time I drive by I can always see those rocks popping out of the water.

First time every kayaking was on Whitehall and almost crapped my pants when I got out to the middle. Felt like I was in the middle of the ocean with 4-5 foot swells:eek: Once I got better at it, it was pretty fun though!

The lake association does. It gets dropped during the winter to combat invasive plants. There is a huge glacial erratic boulder field on the north end of the lake running approx north-south. When the lake is full you have to be real careful on the north end if using a motor.

Honestly maspenock isn't much different, but it's due to the heavy boat/ pwc usage with no speed limit ( besides by the beach)
