I'll keep mine for now. Maybe next year I'll see what kind of condition the frame is in, and go from there.

My FJ's frame is pristine, I love it. Still I will be scuffing it and bedlining it this summer to protect it

Must be new car season. Trying to convince the gf to trade in her focus for something with awd. She has gotten stuck on so many roads in my neighborhood. Simply does not get plowed enough.

It's nice to visit for sure. I'd imagine it's hot as balls in the summer though

Any of you guys have experience with a Diamondback bed cover? Thinking about trading in my Bakflip for one. I've been looking for more storage, comtemplating a bed rack over the cover and came across the cover you can stack all sorts of crap on. They're pricey but seem pretty cool.

True, but being a desk jockey I would just be going from my air conditioned house to air conditioned office in my air conditioned truck..then home to do naked cannonballs in my pool.

It looks like my grandfather's five year battle with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's will be coming to an end in the next few days. He hasn't eaten or drank in two days. Though it sucks, we feel that he's been gone mentally for a while, and has only been around physically, so that perspective on it makes it a little easier.

All kidding aside it was awesome to get into a warm (factory remote start) truck this am. I had clear mirrors (heated) and I had a warm seat (heated) right out of the driveway.

Time to change our thread name to "Random Vehicles in the New England Area BS thread"

Wrong time of year, lol. Puzzles are for winter time!
What are they? I like doing them during the black months; sitting in front of the fire with a puzzle and a hot buttered rum beats the hell out of watching the tube when it gets dark out at 4:30.
Problem is, there's no high-count puzzles for antique cars, haha! They're all 300 or 500 piece and I'm done in an hour.

Sorry to hear that. Alzheimer's is a bitch that way. I said goodbye to my grandmother 2 years before she died. After that I was mostly visiting a stranger. As she regressed I was a stranger to her, too. She called me by my own name at first, then my older cousins, then my uncles and my father, then my grandfather/great uncles, then her father (my great grandfather).

    Getting soft, Bill.
I do miss the heated mirrors in my '93 ZJ. Those were sweet. It's amusing to me that my '93 Jeep had them, but my '10 Tacoma doesn't. The sales guys at the dealerships I visited when I was truck hunting didn't share my amusement; they just recommended I look at a Tundra. Derpyota.

The wife's 06 CRV has heated seats and it always surprises me when I feel the warm under me. I suppose limited sensation in my butt (Spina Bifida is fun stuff) makes it even odder since I feel it on the backs of my legs...lol.

    Just some Northeaster info.

Sorry to invade guys but like Alex mentioned a ways back the Comfort Inn is full at this point. $68 a night draws us regulars in early. But normally rooms open up as "blocks" go unconfirmed.

Again it is a good time at Rausch if you have never been and totally stock accessible. Would love to see more Tacoma's.

Sorry to hear about your grandfather Alex. I lost a grandfather to that hideous disease many years ago. I used to console myself by realizing he had no idea what was going on. It is definitely one of those things that is tougher on the family than the individual.

Thanks Billy. I'm trying to spend time with y family. He doesn't know who I am anymore so I want to keep his memory as the grandpa I had, my the spasming person who doesn't know who I am.

Thanks Noel. I feel the same. I said bye to him 2 or 3 years ago.

My grandpa had very weird PTSD-like occurrences when he started getting bad. He grew up in a Ukrainian concentration camp, so he was always looking and asking for his mother and his big sister. Then the stories of what he thought was going on started, and since then he's just faded away.

Thanks. Im here for my grandmother and dad. My grandpa hasn't known who I am did the last 6 months
