Alex sorry to hear about your grandfather. My only experience with Alzheimers was with my wifes grandmother when she was right at the end but stories like Noels always makes me believe they are indeed still there. Although I'm sure it's tough to hear them be confused, not knowing and/or give the wrong name(s) at lease they are there. What I am saying is if your up to it spend as much time with them that you can. Even though their mind and body is not working correctly they still have an idea that your there for them and at least (I think) makes them feel better. Good Luck buddy

CI is full but I got PeachyRocks' room that she had reserved! Fuck staying at midway.

And thanks Brian. I know he isn't him anymore, and I know that this has been coming, but it still sucks

 

We are always there for him. Always did holidays with him. Visited him a lot for lunch with my grandma very often.

 

Alex, I'm sorry to hear about your Grandfather. I haven't experienced anyone who has had Alzheimers but can only imagine.

Thanks Jason. It's tough. Went from working for NASA to not being able to feed himself. This disease is horrific.

How's the FJ treating you?

 

I'm loving the FJ. Got lots of mods on the way. Can't wait to get it lifted and armored!

And my grandfather passed this morning. My grandmother was with him and he went peacefully. It's a shame, but I'm smiling. He's not in pain or struggling anymore.

im sorry bout your loss alex, I've dealt the same thing with my grandmother back in 2013, its not fun but the thing is he's not in pain anymore
