Not bad. I never really liked the plastic covers over the lugs though.

Howdy all! Hope all is well, I've missed a lot, I'm sure, seeing as I've been trapped on this darn rock... anyway thought I'd regale you with my latest weekend project. fe87df8293152d4a9f9109fc28d444e3_cc0c77eb05694604e2eb6c949d49de9722dae9e7.jpgb10312a1773367a32ff8c216c3e4b82d_b7bca64dc1853edbe02e32382235fb04b9c6ddff.jpg

My dad's 2000 tundra needs a new bumper. Old one fell off, hurrah for salt, so I'm going to be welding an aluminum one for him. And once the front one rusts off, I'll do the same for the nose. Started a template today, hopefully do the welding tomorrow, and take some pictures to go along with it all. Got dark before I realized it...

Damn that bumper does not look good. Salt sucks. I'm sure what you come up with will be pimp.

    Was bored after work (12:45am..)

Decided to relocate my GPS from my dash to above the mirror after seeing a writeup on the blue room.

    c3ffa6322cb3c84073fa785982e33a4e_016a3160a32453136e875cd67d729cd5df6a9bb1.jpg

Took me 10 minutes. All I did was tap the pin out of the lever on the suction cup, remove the cup and spring, trim the bottom of the base about 1/8" so it sat flat against the mirror mount, and found some longer machine screws laying around the shop.

    I'm happy with it!

Tomorrow I'll be tucking the wire for that, putting my radar detector in, tucking the radar wire in, and hardwiring them to a switched 12v source. Oh and putting my ultragauge in the bottom left corner of my dash where my enormous GPS was. Fun fun!!

Alex does it get a good gps signal there? Gps needs to "see"the satellites, that looks like it would interfere with a good sight line to the satellites
