If I recall, Alex wasn't at the helm when it submarined. I guess there were 2 mistakes:
    1. Don't let your girlfriend drive your truck
    2. If you forget rule #1, make sure said girlfriend knows the difference between a truck and a boat :)

What are you going with? You still have the Hankooks and Michelins? Also, what kind of mileage did you get out of the Duratracs?

I'm not really a runner. I bought a mountain bike for my exercise. Should hopefully be able to ride it again soon.

I traded the Hankooks to Alex a long time ago. I had my FJ Crusier wheels powder coated (again) and I was going to put the Michelins on but just could not get myself to do it as I thought they look too tame. I sold them last week and just ordered a set of your favorites BFG ATs but the new verson KO2s. They are the only tire I know of that are 3 ply sidewall with a C load.
I have 3 years and probably 45-50K on my duratracs now and the front ones still look pretty good. The rears ones are pretty worn but those were used when I got them. I am really pleasantly surprised at how well those wore as I thought they a softer tire. The BFGs are 10lbs per tire lighter so those will be my daily drivers and I think I'm going to get some Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 for wheeling the Taco.

Hope the new bfgs work for you . I'm not a fan of the ones I have . I'll most likely need new tires before next winter . I Might go back to the duratracs in a 265/75/16

I might put duratracs on the tundra when the time comes. Just dont know how bad theyll effect my mileage.

I like how you just used "Tundra" and "Mileage" in the same sentence.

I hope so too. The tread on these new ones look similar to the old ones but are supposed to be much better (or at least that is what they say) LOL. Plus the Duratracs in the same size with the C load rating are almost an inch skinner. :notsure: I find that kind of strange.

I think the 4Runner is going to be a full summer project. Ive got pleanty of plans for it but hopefully most of it is already there. Just drive shafts and exhaust to buy.
