    Possible deer, but mostly target and shooting shit. To have in the truck whenever I go trailing if I come across a good spot to put a target up. Haven't hunted in years so possibly getting back into that.

    FWIW, a 12GA is more versatile. #8 for targets/clays, #6 for birds/rabbit, #4 for Turkey, 00 Buck or slugs for deer (or social work). Different chokes for different folks, or you can get a rifled barrel for slugs if you want better accuracy/reach.
    If you're only going to have 1 gun, a 12ga is hard to beat. $.02


    Edit- Plus, you can pretty much always find ammo. Even when we were having shortages and I couldn't find ANY .22 in town, 12ga was plentiful and cheap.

    Reminds me of a place in Eustis called Cathedral Pines. Used to be a pretty nice campground, but they opened it up to RV's, paved the roads, and doubled the # of campsites and I haven't been back since.
