Never bought any boomsticks in MA. Always seemed like too much of a hassle to me, between restrictive laws, my being an out-of-stater, and the travel time. I'm sure that some of the Massholes here can give you the rundown, though.

There is an online system and a paper system. If buying from an individual, you log on to the website, enter in the info about the firearm, your info (license and PIN for both the buyer and seller) and then, you're done. You can also go to a firearm dealer and they can do the transfer for you, usually for a $20 - $30 fee. The state allows you I believe 4 free transfers a year (don't quote me on the number allowed) per individual. After you use your free transfers, you have to go through a dealer and pay them.
With that car, it wouldn't be a body of water I'd be concerned with! I'd be more concerned with inanimate objects placed in your trajectory.

4 is the correct number. Also, there are certain handguns that can only be purchased from a face to face transaction since it is illegal for a dealer to transfer them.

So many little snags and catch 22's with the MA system. I traded a firearm with someone recently and decided to just use a dealer for the transfer.
    Awesome!

I use dealers always unless it's an off list gun that I'm selling. I won't pay the MA premium heh.

Those guns were amazing, and the guy was just handing ammo out for them.

Didn't look at the evo because:
    5 speed
Mitsubishi is dying in the US
And had a bad experience years ago when I tried to buy one and they wouldn't even let me have a test drive

Oh, nvm, I misunderstood what you were trying to say.

The Evo is fun. My cousin has had a few, so far no issues with them. He also dumped a ton of money into them though so they were putting out some serious power.

I'm just waiting for Mitsubishi to go the way of suzuki. I used to work with some mitsu stores and they were depressing to go into

Zip it! Usually people are between the STi and the Evo if they're going that route.

Oh haha no I was between the taco and the sti. My requirements were manual, fun to drive, can pull my trailer, and 4wd. It baffles the Toyota and Subaru dealers too...
