Me too. They had me sit in it on the lift and do 60+ to check for bad wheel bearings. lol

She meant the itchy kind of STI

Troof.... They're shitty as hell. I drove one a few years back, and the clutch is about as sloppy as my FJ is currently because its on its last legs after 138k. The Evo was brand new... Unacceptable

Everything else is the same, just the section in the T-line right of way was graded for access roads. The roads will likely be reclaimed after work is done at the end of the year, but the revised slope there will obviously stay.

One of my co-workers is a Subaru fan. Supposedly whatever year WRX he had was faster than the STI due to gearing. He says if you're going to spend cash on mods, get a WRX. If you don't plan on mods and have the cash, get the STI.

I'd just get the STI and drive it like is. Nice little car.

I also REALLY like the VW GTI R. A lot like the R32 but with the 4cyl turbo motor. Very limited car

2009-up was when you see that. I think they rated the WRX at 265 at that point and revised the suspension compared to the relatively weak 2008 model. Then in 2011 they went to the STI body again. You didn't need to shift into 3rd to get to 60. The irony is to get even close to the magazine numbers for the cars you have to beat them within an inch of their lives on launch.

I've done the so-called Stage 2 mod with a Pro-Tune, but other than that, some gauges, shifter bushings and a front strut bar (JDM, y0), I'm basically stock. I have no idea how people complain about a lack of power, or how anyone can even enjoy their 400 whp on the street.

I knew a quite a few people with GM LS engines where they'd get up to 500+hp, but upgrading the drivetrain to handle that power made them suck for daily drivers.

Makes sense...the break point on Subaru is 350 from what I've been reading. I'm at 280 on a heartbreaker dyno and I'm good. I just envision mashing the gas with 500 WHP, going sideways, taking out a mailbox, correcting into a tree and wondering if it was worth it.

The stock 330~HP my WS6 had was more than enough to get me in trouble.

Wife got me this. Said she saw it while browsing for something completely unrelated on Amazon. I think it's pretty hilarious since I can't stand hybrids.
