I'm hoping it's an exposed circuit board like the Tacoma dash so I can re-wire it, split off certain LED's and change the function of them.

The one I bought is a Toshiba and it's a POS. The first one I got wouldn't even turn on, brand new. They gave me a new one and the mouse pad just stopped working after about 3 months.

The wife just told me hers shutdown earlier and won't turn on anymore.

Seems the problems she's having with it are common issues. According to the forums, the battery might not be dead, but rather the laptop is refusing to charge it. A year ago, I had to do some button combo for 10 seconds to fix that. It's not working this time.

That's pretty damn cool Noel, I read about that, but never tried it myself.

I'd only tried it once before this, on an old hatchet I found under my parent's camp. Worked great, but I hadn't had any need for it since then.
But now I've got a bunch of stuff to de-rust. Most of it's just surface scale, but I don't like rust on my tools, even the ones that I use in the garden.

that being said, i don't download music, movies, or porn so there isn't anything to really screw it up haha

I have a Gateway laptop from 2006 that works pretty well, other than the battery only lasting 10 minutes now. My new one is a Lenovo. It's only a year old, still new pretty much.

That looks good. Very similar to the tube bumper I had on my taco.

    Not down at takeover?

Sweet let me know when you want to come up and I'll press the bearing for you. I went out on some class 6 by my house today just to test the transfer case gears . Low is super low now . It will just idle up everything .

ahh that stinks. It's gets a lot harder to get out once you have a kid . I still have your sliders sitting in my garage . Those will be next to go on .

I blew up my front diff. Followed some of the hardcore rigs down a red and got stuck trying to make a tight turn. Lost all drive in the front wheels. The driveshaft still spins. One of the NTC guys drove it out the rest of the way in two wheel low. Now I get to drag it home and rip apart the front axle to figure out what I broke.
