Short end of the story ... Went to Firestone for a alignment . They forgot to tighten the lca adjustment bolt . Nut backed off .. Luckily the bolt couldn't come out because the skid plate was in the way. I ended up bringing it somewhere else to get it fixed . I called the customer service # and filed a complaint . Still waiting to hear back from them . I'm not a happy camper:mad:

Gmc is a pos ! But it's a 2012 1k miles on it and fun to beat the shit out of . :)

Truck will be done tommorow morning :goingcrazy::goingcrazy:
Just got off the phone with icon . My rear shocks started squeaking bad after 2 weeks of being on the truck . There replacing them free of charge . Anyone that bought rear vs series shocks from them . They had a bad batch with a leaking seal. Call them they will send you new ones .

Sorry for your badluck. I went to firestone for the lifetime on my last truck and was never happy with them. I will go to Sullivan next time, every now and then they offer the lifetime. Just be glad you didnt get hurt while flying up the highway to work

That blows! I was thinking of getting the lifetime alignment at some point when I buy billies and eibach springs, I might be reconsidering that now.

That sucks john. You cant trust anyone these days. You dont know who is gonna mess up your truck. Ive been to 3 shops for alignment and they all suck lol. Firestone wouldnt look at my truck, too high and lifted lol, pepboys did it and did like the worst job ever and then went to sullivan tire to hopfully fix it and they made it worse lol. Tire hitting ucas and tires looking like /\ and said it was fine lol. I dont trust anyone anymore.

I had a hard time finding someone to do my alignment as well. Not sure how far you guys in the Boston-area want to travel but the place that finally lined mine up was great. Lionel's Wheel Alignment in Nashua, NH which is right across the border. Might be worth the trip. :notsure:

The place that did my alignment did a good job. I have a 3" lift with the LR UCAs and 305/60-18s for tires. It's one of two places I trust to touch my truck. http://www.rogerstires.com/

I think it was $110.00...usually $100 but another $10.00 for dealing with the added geometry of the lift. But it was balls-on when I picked it up and would track straight for a long time when I took my hands off the wheel. That was 30K miles ago...now I gotta give 'er a lil "Tommy Lee" nudge now-and-then to keep her running straight.

I might be up to go. Depending on it my plans work on maybe I'll be down. I got me spacers installed at Sullivan tire. Was pricey at 250 but thats the cheapest I found.

That's not to bad of a price. If they got it in spec then I'm to pay extra for a good job. I can't seem to trust anyone with my truck now a days . I get different answers everytime I see them lol

So there's a decent group of us in this area that want proper alignment and have spent lots and lots of $$$ trying to get it... We should collectively buy our own alignment machine, how expensive can they really be?
