Put my hard top on this am. My homemade bar and winch worked perfectly. I hung the roof and just backed in under it and lowered it onto the jeep.

Battled the dreaded header studs and won. Gonna finish up the long tube and y pipe install tomorrow morning. Not in the mood to pull skids right now.

I got my new gun safe in the house this weekend and loaded it up. Safes are like tents, a "5 man" tent doesn't hold 5 and a "24 gun" safe doesn't hold 24 guns

If I was home right now I'd be busy prepping and installing the rack and RTT that got delivered yesterday... So much awesome, so much time to wait. :annoyed:

January. Figure I can get the prep for the rack done (probably linexed). Might also do some fab work on it so I can bolt it down to the bed mounts.

That's cool. You should see if BAMF or somebody would sell you just that lower section done. The BAMF one is nice because he welds in a disconnect piece (Quick couplers) so that it's easy to remove and install.

It was his design I was thinking about high-jacking for the AP rack I have :anonymous:

Cant throw too much more money at it so the local fab shop will have to do. I've done a lot of business with them before, and they are really good.

For sure. My 24 gun safe is full, my 10-gun safe is full, and I definitely don't have 34 guns (yet).

All is good here, just searching TW for threads on fiberglass installation. Front fenders FTMFW!

Replaced the timing chain, cover, and harmonic balancer on the '84 this weekend. The old balancer had crapped out and the pulley had eaten through my timing cover and it was slinging oil everywhere. Great for rustproofing as you drive, but not so great for wherever you park, lol. I figured that I'd replace the timing chain while I was in there, and from the looks of things it's a good thing that I did!
Pardon the crappy cell phone video, but that's a LOT of slack.

I saw that and was like o_O
    I'm amazed it hadn't skipped a tooth.

Amen to that, safes definitely run small, especially if your guns have optics
