I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
Thanks Scott and congrats. Good to see you back here.

I saw a couple of fixed up Tacomas on my way home from work today. Both pretty decked out, lift, tires etc. Talked to one kid, seemed pretty cool. He had a set of my towing mirrors but he didn't buy them from me. :(:)

Just got home from Bass Pro Shop. They have an incrediable deal on plano storage totes. 1/2 price. I bought 2 large and 2 small ones

Anybody know of a shop/shops that fabricate custom soft tops?

I should have checked with you first John. Already ordered everything. I think I did alright pricewise. Thanks though. We got a spot already squared away in Walpole. A little north of Keene. 10 min. from VT. I can't wait. 30 acres with some wheeling ops on site and out the back door. Right on the Rt. 9 State snowmobile trail. Need to get a couple sleds. Speaking of sleds, will be working on Sat at the NH grass drags. Spectating on Sun next month. Any of you guys into snow, or in this case not, its pretty cool. Rob's a Sledhead....lol. Maybe see you this year

To all who did the ECGS fix, did you replace the CV ? Just trying to decide on replacing since I'm tearing it all apart. I believe the CV is still good. I have vibes at various speeds and situations but the alignment is still perfect. Go figure. 80 mph on the highway, stays straight as ever. Any input appreciated. Thanks

I did but only because my main nut was cross threaded or at least had a burr from the factory and when I removed the nut it destroyed the threads. If not for that I would not of worried about it

I bought a new one to replace it but there was nothing wrong with the original one so it went back in and keep the other one for a spare .

Currently getting quotes for a new liner. Will close ours in a few weeks if we go ahead with it. Not looking forward to dropping so much coin on it unfortunately. :(

I am so far behind on my yard, it's not even funny...

My ECGS bearing worked great, although I have a weird grind at low speeds that seems to be getting a bit worse. I've played with the dust shield a bit but I don't know if I've made anything better or worse. I got a new disconnect for my air line so I'll pull the wheel this week and make sure it's not the dust shield. If not, I'll have to send it off to the mechanic for a diagnosis and whatnot. It doesn't seem like CVs or a wheel bearing since none of the other symptoms for either of those fit, but I'm at the end of my diagnosing ability. I don't want to just throw wheel bearings and CVs into it if I don't have to.
