Really?? I thought ma was super easy. I lost the title to mine when I moved up here, so I got an rmv1 from my insurance company stating that it's homemade and no vin. I was in and out with a new tag in about 5 min

 

You're lucky! I had everything I needed and still had to argue with them. I hate the MA RMV, such a timesuck and a perfect example of how inefficient we can be if we really put our minds to it.

 

Maybe they like you better. Want to make some registry runs for us?

You guys think MA is bad, you should see how it is in RI. You would love MA's registry if you only knew what had to be done there!

Ouch... I don't think I've ever been in and out of the MA RMV in under 2 hours. They really need to streamline that process, the stuff you can do online is nice but it's brutal if you actually have to go there. Getting plates is a painful affair.

 

Exactly! Everyone here when they need to go to the registry tells the boss that they will come in IF they can. One guy got there at 5am to wait outside in line and got to work at 1:30pm.

 

Compared to RI, MA is streamlined. Most people in RI wait in crazy ass lines just to be told that they need to go to a different location in a different city.

 

That's scary... Last time I went, I went at an odd hour in the middle of the day, had all my shit in order and ready to go and still spent 2 hours just because of the wait. Once I got to the window, 5 minutes.

 

Yeah RI doesn't do all things at all places. It's weird

 

I always check the wait times when I go. I've never been there longer than 45 min

 

DMV in Ct sucks.
When I have to renew my CDL, I can only go to a main branch like Bilgeport. I feel like a strange visitor in a strange land when I go there.

 

I just go to my town hall . In and out 10 minutes .

 

Don't you have to go to two places in nh though?

 

Dmv if your getting your license. Town hall to reg a car . You get plates at the town hall .
