Mid-60's here. Seems like a good evening for a cigar and a bourbon on the front porch.

i loved mine, but yeah lots of theft attempts. i'd have to leave it with friends if i went out of town. the one down my street was cherry, only had 24k miles because the boy that owned it died. thieves took it out of their driveway one night, his mom was a mess

I misspoke, the officer was his partner of 5 years. Only reason my friend wasn't there was because he was at court. They are part of a 6 man team, but they shared a car for 5 years. I can't imagine the grief and guilt he's going through. :(

I love it but coming from me that's hardly a surprise. I got two BTTF references in at my wedding.

I love the small details that differentiate it from stock like the lights and tailgate.

I love that it has my wheels and front suspension. I have 4 Statler plate frames on the way. I want the 1/18 die cast model of it from the Mirai video.

Nice! What did you opt to carry for a gun?
Good luck; hope you get a good-sized pig!

I can already smell the bacon sizzling.

I'm making going hunting for the first time this weekend also, hopefully my scouting pays off. Not nearly as exciting as your hog hunt though, I'm jealous!

Opening day for us is next weekend. Youth day is this weekend, but it's been several years since I've been able to do that one, lol. I've got a six-point buck that's been hanging around one of my game cameras for the past couple of weeks, so I'm setting my blind up on Saturday to let him get used to it being there. He's there around the same time (noonish) nearly every day for the last couple of weeks.

Deer season isn't until next month for me, I don't do archery so I can't hunt with a shotgun until I believe 11-30. Turkey season started Monday, that's what I'm hoping to get this weekend (and by weekend, I mean Saturday because of yet another stupid MA law).

Ah, I see. Sigh. We're in the middle of turkey season now and I haven't gone out at all yet. I'm bringing my shotgun & a squawk box with me tomorrow and I'll do some yelping while I'm out setting my blind, but I haven't done any scouting for turkeys yet this season.

I hate those stupid hunting blue laws. Now that I work a M-F job it means I get 1 day a week to hunt, and it's when there's 10,000 other people running around in the woods too.

Exactly, I'll get 2 days each during turkey and deer season unless I take a day off. I'm thinking I'll actually take a day off for deer season so I'm not in the woods with that many other hunters. Opening day is a Monday, thinking of taking Tuesday off.

Yep. I haven't gotten a buck since I started at this job, and I think a big part of it's because in an average deer season I'm only able to get out in the woods 4-5 days, and that's if I hunt Thanksgiving.

I might be SOL, I only have a buck permit. I wasn't sure I'd have the time to scout so I didn't buy an antlerless deer permit. I'm kicking myself for that now, and will really be kicking myself if I'm sitting in a blind and see a doe walk by. Oh well, it's my first time out, I'm not expecting a lot other than the experience. I think I have a good shot at getting a turkey, we'll see what happens in deer season.
