    25 wasn't that great for me either. All work, all the time, all year. We bought our first house in February (a fixer upper that needed a LOT of fixing up) and I was working 55+ hours a week as a service writer/assistant manager. I spent almost every spare minute of that entire year working on the house, fixing walls, plumbing, new floors and fixtures, etc.

    But, we pounded it out, and 26 was all play. House was squared away and with a small mortgage, I managed to cut my hours at work back, and we traveled all over the state hiking, camping, visiting friends, doing beach days, etc.

    Denis, I agree with everyone else, park at one of the T lots and take the red line in. From where you are, Alewife wouldn't be a bad option. Parking in that area is pretty terrible unless you don't mind walking a little ways.
