I like it and all but I like p238 better it didn't fill the niche I thought it would. If I carry that I may as well carry the SR9C with 10 rounds. It won't pocket carry like the 238 it's just to in between what I already have.

Have a 43. Massachusetts problems aren't a problem with the right dealers :p

Trigger is fantastic IMWO. In all honesty, there's not much to improve(other than the sights, but that's personal preference). Kinda why I want to get the 34. Something to tinker with.

    I like my 43, personally.

This is why I've had such a hard time finding a current-production pistol with a trigger similar to the 5906:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alC4U1jcv9w

On top of that super-short reset, it's a light pull and it breaks like a glass rod. On DA it's a standard long heavy pull, but on SA it's sex.

Only thing I can add to this conversation is the new Raptor looks pretty sexy. New trucks are too damn expensive though.

Today was a success. I've got a matching spare now with the wheels broken down for easier storage and prep to repair them next spring. The cap is good as new. I definitely recommend Bay State Truck Caps in Fall River. They repaired my cap and it looks fantastic. They also paid attention to the little details, like putting the cap keys on my key ring so I wouldn't lose them right away and touching up the area of the cap where the paint had worn away to bare fiberglass due to the previous ill-fitting door. I know it's minor, but things like that impress me, because it's the extra mile type stuff you don't see anymore.

First coat of Fluid Film is on. I did it as it was getting dark and I didn't have my droplight out in the garage to see what I did or didn't miss. I'll go under with the aerosol cans and touch up where I can, fog the interior front box sections by the cats a bit more, do the doors and tailgate and I should be done. FF smells SO bad. I always forget how rank it is until I do it.

As they say, today was a good day.

Hopefully I'll be picking up a handgun next week. Anyone know of any good shops near Worcester?

The gun parlor is in Worcestor and the people there seemed cool last time I was there.

Also, do some more research on NY gun laws, you are soo far off it isn't even funny. You could find yourself in a world of hurt if the right policeman catches you with a handgun in NY that you aren't licensed to possess. When it comes to handguns, your MA license doesn't mean dick in NY, without a NY license, you can not legally possess a handgun in the state except transporting through, period. If you want to take your chances and do it illegally, that's fine but you should at least know.

Haven't checked in a while, but that's a good ballpark figure. Have the repro wooden holster/shoulder stock and rig too.
Fun to shoot with mild loads.
