I'm really sorry to hear that Rob. Thoughts are with you and your family. If you need anything don't hesitate to ask.

Happy thanks giving to everyone! Eat a little extra turkey for me. Family is a bunch of vegetarians... So no meat with my potatoes. :angrygirl:

A slew of pricey stuff my wife hates me for.
Happy belated Turkey Day to the biggest bunch of knob gobblers I know!

But seriously, I hope you all got where you were going safely and enjoyed the day.

Rob, I'm so sorry to hear about your father. Obviously I never met him, but you're one hell of a stand up guy and that speaks volumes on the type of man he was.

    Morning all. :pccoffee:

Cabela's Doorbuster sales were BS. I was there when they opened the doors at 5AM because they were running a sale on the blackpowder revolvers ($140). I grabbed one of those, some powder and shot and two bricks of 22lr and by then the line to check out was wound around the entire store. I waited for 20 minutes and only made it about 30 feet and said "fuck this" and put everything back. I had to be at work today for 7:30 and I didn't have time to spend an hour in line. Frigging store had employees everywhere in the aisles helping people find shit, but only 3 registers open. So on my way out of the store I told them that they'd lost over $200 because they didn't want to open all of the registers.
And the frigging chick behind the service counter says "Well, it's Black Friday. It's always like this on Black Friday" so I countered "If it's always like this, why weren't you prepared for it?"
I was pretty irritated, so I didn't stick around to see what her response was because I didn't want to get into an argument about something she probably doesn't have any say about. I worked retail for long enough to have some sympathy for the employees and lots of disgust for inept management.

I debated stopping in a Bass Pro on the way to work but decided against it. I might stop in on the way home and see what's left but, in general, I try to avoid the early morning mob mentality Black Friday shopping.

I typically don't shop at all on black friday unless it's online. But they had some good deals I wanted to try and get so I figured I'd give it a shot. But man, what a waste of time. I'll just buy shit online and pay regular price, lol.

I never shop Black Friday but I found a decent deal on a gun safe so I'm going to battle all the people.

I always have and saved a lot of money doing it. It's great to save the $$$ when you have a bunch of kids but not this year. Too busy and honestly how many TV's, X-boxes etc does one house need??? My wife is working in that madness as we speak and picking up a few key things for the kids, that's all. I'm just going to get my concentrate on getting my wife something extra special for X-mas this year. She deserves it!

We did the black Friday thing in the past, not this year though. We already finished shopping for our daughter and nothing else we were planning on getting for others was any sort of deal. In the past we got done good deals on big ticket items, but like Rob said you only need so many of them. I'm much happier sleeping than dealing with that nonsense

Not a fan of shopping in general, especially dealing with all the traffic involved with going within just a few short miles from us. I'd rather take advantage of the nice weather today and hang some lights in the yard instead of waiting another week and freezing my ass off.

I went to the Gun Parlor in Worcester today. As one of the first people there, I got a free 50rd box of 9mm and 50rd box of 22lr.

I got a Ruger SR9, and because I spent over $300, I got a second 50rd box of 9mm for free, and a shirt. It was cool!

Too bad it's gonna live in my mom's gun safe :( Going to the range tomorrow!
    Always drive around!

The LCR and LCP are terrible! My mom has an LCR in .357 and it blows. The recoil is crazy

Going to the range tomorrow, and I can't wait to see how awesome this SR9 is!

I was debating between the SR9 and the SR9c, but they were the same price, and I'd rather the extra capacity, bla bla bla
