New England B.S. Thread

I have a little 4x8 that I got for the bikes 6 years ago for $600 brand new. It's been up and down the east coast a few times, only money I've put into it has been stuff for the bikes, and it lives outside. Only reason I'm selling it is it's a little tight for 2 sportbikes

 

A bit small for me. The next tractor I get will have a 50inch mower. That is a whole other dilemma...lol...Tractor or zero turn. Doing three acres of lawn takes about 3 hours with a 42in. Time to upgrade soon.

Brands: Sure Trac, REMQ and Simplicity I have looked at. Buying stateside was the plan but then money went to crap. 30cents on the dollar crushes the deal most of the time.

 

Serves you right for trying to buy 'fashionable' jeans... If you want to look nice, wear khakis. If you want the best of both work and play, buy Carhartt khakis, they look nice and are still thick so you can actually work in them.

I had a 5x10 Loadrite galvanized trailer than I really liked. It wasn't very expensive (used) and seemed to be well made.

 

Hate khakis. With a passion. Can't stand them, lol. I did eventually find a set of Levis that fit correctly, but it was such a pain in the butt...

Yup, they opened the middle of last month. No announcement, no add, no nothing - can't figure out why? One would think that there would be all sorts of hoopla with a large store opening in CT. I would figure the emperor would be there taking credit for creating jobs. Oh wait, they sell guns - never mind... They are off of 95 next exit north of rt 8/25.

That's a very light duty trailer, 1,600 lb capacity isn't much. I would guess it's thin gauge steel so keep an eye on the structure. You'll want to repaint annually otherwise it'll just rust through in no time.

 

i don't know, like i said the one i have now is a smaller version of the same thing and i haven't touched it once. it's been outside for a couple years now

 

GF and I are in Portland me for a late anniversary. Cool place lots of quality places to eat and bars... Never seen so many homeless people wearing north face, Patagonia, and dressed better than me haha. Lots of hipsters too....

 

Rebecca, you should contact Welsh Trailers in Taunton. They are a higher quality trailer and they sell there own trailers so you don't pay for dealer mark-up. I have one that is from the late 80's/early 90's and is still going strong

We just got back in for the night. We went out and did our annual thing; we went to D&D's to get hot chocolate with whipped cream (even though it's not cold out) and then went to the Lions club a couple of town's over and picked out our Christmas tree. It's a great little place and that always has a fire going (even though it's not cold out). We like buying our tree there because even though they may not be the cheapest around all the proceeds go to local charities and the people that volunteer there a super friendly, they cut the tree and even carry it out to the truck for us.

 

Well everyone has to die at some point and something has to kill you.

HUGE shit show. I was in there on Friday (along with everybody else on TW). The list of people viewing the thread was enormous. Lots of going on

 

What are you people getting your parents for Christmas? My parents give the typical "we don't want anything" and if I honored their wishes, it would go over like a fart in church.

Just looking for any ideas and seeing if I can steal them.
