What goes well with chicken marsala? I'm trying a new recipe for date night tonight and I'm looking for a side dish (other than garlic twists and a bottle of wine)

 

Morning. Been busy past few days, not much free time to dick off on TW.

 

Pizza rolls?

green beans mashed potatoes and my girlfriend makes takes crescent rolls puts a layer of garlic cheese spread stuff and the procuitto and rolls them up yum...

 

Garlic for date night???

 

Green beans might be an option...I could sautee them with some sliced almonds.

But Pizza Rolls?!

Noelie is from Maine... you never know what sort of stuff he's into.

 

Yeah, the angel hair's a given as a bed for the chicken, but where the marsala's so rich I was thinking of maybe adding in a veggie side. Maybe I'll steam some broccoli.

 

asparagus would be nice with the chicken. this is all making me really hungry btw

Same problem here. I end up really hungry whenever I look up a new recipe for date night (With my girlfriend. Of 11 years, Puggles)

 

Not a bad idea, but fortunately the heat works fine in all of the vehicles

Lol, thanks. I always grow one for hunting season, but I kept it this year. Usually it's just a goatee over the winter.

 

Haha pizza rolls is a joke... But I would want to see my GFs reaction if I told her I was making dinner and she came home to pizza rolls
