Did you use that heat cord stuff this year?

I lost power from about 5:30 to 8:30 tonight. The annoying part is the house across the street is on a different grid and had power.

I like the idea of adding heat cable, just need to look into it more. I desperately need new gutters.

I'm loving my new snowblower. It handled this heavy stuff with ease. I have a holder for the truck which should work well, for the short distances I will carry it.

Sad to hear about Dave Mirra. My friends met him at the Northeast Forest Rally and said he was a super nice guy and asked them to play pool after the race.

Nah, thought about it but didn't. I ended up having the back reshingled due to leakage ugh.

I don't know much about them but supposedly the heated ones are better than the cable. And yeah my blower worked okay but for the chute clogging.

Suicide is what I heard though it's speculated that maybe concussions through his life/career might have caused him issues. Sucks..

I used it last year on all the gutters and it seeded to cause more of an issue. I had it run up one spout to get to the roof and then just looped it partway down the others and it just created a swimming pool in the gutters and (imo) assisted in creating bigger ice dams. I took it all out this year

I am extremely happy with my new snowblower. It never skipped a beat or plugged up with this crap. Throws like a bastard, I can throw from the edge of the drive, over the drive, the grass and into the side yard behind a fence

What kind did you get? I got a new toro at the end of last season and the sludge from the plows still clogged it up yesterday.

My brother in law got the same one, that things a beast! I like how you can see the blue flames out the exhaust at night. That one definitely puts mine to shame!

I got it this past June or July online and delivered to my garage door with no tax. I figure it will be the last one I buy

We lost power at 10:30 AM and my wife was home with both boys. I ran the generator for about 45 minutes when I got home at 3 and again at 7:30 just to get the house warm. Power came back around 1 AM.

I dropped my truck off at Bernardi this morning, needle bearing TSB getting done today. They had the truck for 5 hours just trying to confirm that it needed it done last week, wonder how long it will take to actually fix?

So I picked up an Ash Vac at job lot for my pellet stove. It's awesome I don't know why I never got one sooner. I had been using a RIDGID shop vac but it would fill the air with dust and that is obviously less than ideal. Love this thing no ash blowing past the filter and I can suck stuff up while it's still hot. Highly recommended for anyone with a pellet stove.
