I'd like to see that shot against a wall when it's dark. I bet you're getting a lot more light spillage that you think.

OK yes I have read some good things about them but they are still a newer tire so we will see what people say beside the "they are good while towing" or " great traction on a dirt road" reviews that are online now

I haven't taken mine to get inspected yet. I know it won't fail, but I don't want that messy coating on the frame either.

OK, I'd pick the Falken then. IDK why. I just like the looks of them better

I think Falken makes an MT now too. I saw an article about awhile back.

We do a little bit with Falken, from what I've heard from customers the Wild Peak AT's grip well when they're new but they wear fast (as in totally smoked in 20k) even with regular rotations.

Yeah, they look like a BFG M/T Ripoff (the old style, not the new KM2's). That or the old Dunlop Radial Mud Rovers.

I have no doubt. I did a side by side (old on left, new on right) to compare the pattern and spread. Honestly, they were identical except for intensity. I think (because of the way the oem housing is kept in its entirety) the spillage is just an increase of stock bulb spillage. Then again, I'm no luminary. Ha!

    Yeah, it's not great.
On the other hand, they're something of a 'budget' tire still, so it's not too surprising. Some of the cheap Chinese tires that we sell are only good for about 10-15k and they're totally gone. Some of the Goodyear truck tires we sell are good for 60k. Rubber is definitely one of those things where you get what you pay for (relatively speaking). A good name-brand tire might be twice the cost of a cheaper brand, but they're going to last a LOT longer. :notsure:

I have no idea how it was set up, only that it's an AP rack with the tray. I need to put it on the truck to see how high it sits. On the floor it looks to be cab height.

It's a tight fit, but so are the ones with fans.

Couldn't help myself, had to see them on the street. Directed them down before leaving work so I wouldn't piss people off. Thinking I'll adjust them back up a little.
