Plus so many of the games are on in the middle of the night, because they take so damn long standing around between plays. I get up at 4:30; I've got better things to do at 1AM than watch grown men scratch themselves on national television.

My dad used to watch the Red Sox all the time. He didn't watch all the games all the way through but if he was watching something else he would switch it on during commercial breaks. Me, I can only watch a little bit at a time if on TV but going to a game is a whole different story.

One of my regrets is not taking my dad to a Red Sox game last year. I was planning on taking him last spring but he was soooooo mad at them and all there trades that he knew how bad they would stink. I told him I was getting tickets and he told me not to bother as he said "they suck this year""maybe next year". Well for those that don't know my dad passed away last November right before Thanksgiving and I feel like I should have just bought the tickets and brought him anyways.

 

Don't even get me started. Never liked him. And you know my feelings on animals..a friend of mine has a pitbull rescue who was a bait dog.

 

i can't stand him. and i firmly believe if he can do those things to dogs, it's not a giant leap to children

 

I myself will not watch a game when his team is on and that includes if they play the Patriots, nuff said.

At least somebody got snow out of this mess today. We got 3 inches of snow, an inch of sleet, then rain. Now it's melted, but it's supposed to drop down into the single digits tonight so all of that standing water is going to lock right up solid on people. And we're not supposed to touch the melt point again until Saturday, either.
Going to be a lot of people with broken hips and burst pipes, methinks.

 

Yeah we got all rain out of it but I have been watching it closely all week. I called up the snowmobile shop up there and he said they got a solid 4 inches of snow and the groomers had just gone out. Freezing temps all weekend!
