if there is a difference it would only be the spring rate to make up for the extra weight of the extra cab space....but i don't think it would be too significant

I ask because I met mach1man001 last night to sell an exhaust and we both have the same truck and front end setups, but his clearly sits higher than mine and he has some armor. The difference though is that I'm using coils I had from an 09 AC truck with my 5100's set at 2.5. So that leads me to think the coils are different, but wanted to know for sure before I spend time swapping them.

Machman is also running bigger tires . Might make it look alittle taller. I don't think there is a difference between coils .

yeah, he's got 285 and I have 265/70, but he still has a much bigger fender gap. I'll try swapping to my dc coils and see if it helps, otherwise I'll be ordering some OME885

    thanks for the input guys!

As far as I've ever heard, TRD Sport and SR5 coils are the same and have a spring rate of 540 #/in. The TRD Off Road coils are a little different because they are progressive rate. The wear the coils have seen will make a big difference in how much lift you get. Preloading the coils will wear them out quicker so they could have sagged over time. That being said, my fiance's uncle has a 2010 TRD Sport Access Cab, stock height, and looks damn near identical to mine in the front and I have Eibach coils. So basically, I have no idea how to account for the ride height differences between years

Johnny, bring ALL the bolts you have haha. 5th gen might need em :p

But in all fairness, he hasn't had any issues the last few times we went. We shook all the problems out of his truck
