I had a GrillMaster for about 20 years till I scrapped it a couple months ago. Finally cracked the bottom tub. Still had lava rocks. Had to replace the "lifetime" burners every 2-3 years, but no big deal . Worked great .
Bought a smaller Weber Spirit E-210 2 burner job a couple months back to replace the old one. I like it.
Has the circular part in the center of the grill that you can use with the provided frying pan or buy a bunch of accessories that Weber has. pretty slick setup.
    I'm happy with it.

I had a Vermont castings for 10 years. This winter I decided to upgrade but unfortunately Vermont castings doesn't make grills anymore. Anyhow, I was all in on a Weber until I stopped at aubuchon hardware where they had a Saber setup for another customer. I ordered mine on the spot. 2fbcc4a57d8e6a50c97d929c9cea8fdb_0165d0593aa6307ac28e73c1efbdf2d48d561247.jpge3815b79c0658c7d5b340b46c9657894_e39c4a62845e1bc648d9022716a756c2a1d10d88.jpga686845e0c363522abe0b7a8c330864f_a33f59c44e60e3fbe243278f2759bef88ee7deff.jpg

Webers are nice, but god damn they are expensive. I'm happy with the grillmaster so far. After 5 years it's still working great. For the $150 or so I paid for it you can't really beat it.

No, because it's 4 inches tall!
If I'm spending $2k on a grill, it had damn well better be able to cook BIG things too!

Cassie and I host dinner for our friends on a regular basis, to keep everybody in touch. I've been known to brine and grill/smoke a 20lb turkey, or a couple of nice big briskets, or even a whole side rack of beef ribs when we do.

I just don't see the appeal of a grill that can only do steaks/burgers/chicken pieces, is all. :notsure:

That thing is ugly as shit.... But it's always received good reviews from the so called experts....I love mine. The fact that it gets no flare ups at all is a huge deal for my wife. Makes grilling bacon that much easier.

I have the worst Char Broil that has ever been made in the history of man, seriously.

20 minutes all burns on, 350°F, maybe. I have the identical grille at my Mom's, 550°F in 8-10 minutes. I wish I realized it cooked so poorly sooner, as I would have returned it. It's basically useful to cook hot dogs and kielbasa. There's no way I feel safe cooking anything else on it. It's such garbage I get angry thinking about it. Sadly the budget isn't going to allow a replacement in the near future.

I would like to have one of the Big Green Eggs, but I think I would only use is sparingly. I like the propane grill where I just flick a switch and I have heat. Throw one burger on the grill and not have to make a big production out of it (maybe I don't understand how they fully work, but that is my perception of them). I do love food that is cooked over charcoals, but the ease of propane is much more beneficial to me.

I found a nice $200 Char-Broil grill at Lowes that I am going to be picking up. Maybe in a few years if it shits the bed I will be ready for a Weber then.

My uncle has a big green egg, and he can throttle the air supply on his down enough that the charcoal will actually go out once he's done cooking. Then he'll reuse what's left next time he grills.
But, if you're only cooking one burger at a time you should look at getting a little hibachi-style grille. You can cook a burger over 4-5 lumps that way. I have one that I use when the GF and I go to the beach and it's a great little unit.

    Edit-This thing.
