Now you have me thinking :hattip: The "boys" have been lifting at least one "New Jeep" every week and the "stock parts" hang out on the floor by my desk if not asked for by customer....... Cash Fund for the crew and it could pay for Saturdays "grille supplies" feeding 8 techs needs heavy scratch :D

    Thanks Billy

And YES, I am collecting a check from a Dodge/Jeep Dealer  New England $$$ with perks and plenty of work :p

Billy, are the Rubicons actually higher than standard jeeps or is the suspension just beefier?

Morning everyone. I've got to work today how about everyone else?

No work for me today.... Luckily the commercial accounts I deal with made it clear they rather have me at work Monday-Friday rather than take a day off during the week and work Saturday. Broke down and bought a cooler last night. Couldn't justify a Yeti so I bought a knockoff. RTIC. Now I just have to wait 2 months.

The springs will be tagged and the last two numbers are the rate. I have a 17/58 and the one I am buying are a 19/60. Most of what I have learned is the ride height changes about 1/4"-1/2" per number change. The shocks are also different on the rubicon, not sure about the rest. Even if the rest are just spare parts.

Saco is a beautiful ride, almost worth it for me for just the tires.

You burn through your tires already or are you just after the new look from the wheels? They have good years on them, not the rubi mud terrains.

Going Mini shopping today. I know it's not going to be a buying trip because it's not an S and it's black.......sheeeesh. Had one black car and will never do it again. We have not driven a non S yet so this is an experiment.

I hear ya there, I've owned one black truck and it was very love hate. When it was clean, it looked awesome but it was so hard to keep it that way. Fortunately, I was living in VA so no salt but the pollen was terrible. I only owned it for a year or so in New England.

When I can get around to it, or rather when my paint gets so chipped and scratched from work and other fun things, I'm painting my truck a different color... I don't like black. Looks good on some vehicles, hell, Looks good on mine! ...but I prefer lighter colors. Tan, white, silver. Pink.

No my tires are still good just like the rubicon wheels. I would have to decide which set would be my winter/wheeling set.

I saw this 2nd gen the other day and thought it was just too funny.

Hope this guy is not on here.

Who the hell is going to derp their whole truck like this??? It looked really shitty! You can see how they even derped the black rain gutter strips but what you can't see is that they derped the lower plastic step on the bumper but as you can see they left the chrome bumper itself alone. WTF
