Sorry everyone, but I'd just like to add to the MPG topic. I commute about 26 miles a day, in a mix of heavy traffic on the highway and city driving. I usually average about 16.5MPG with no lift and the stock tires (265/70/16s). I've also driven long distances at time on the highway and averaged 20.5mpg. Miguel's profile says he lives in Boston, which is probably the biggest factor in his low mpgs. I just had my 265/75s mounted this weekend and can really feel the difference in the gearing, i didn't think it would be so noticeable.

Lighten up on the skinny pedal and you can push 20 MPG all day. I can push 20 MPG with 265/70R17 tires, a lift, and carrying the weight of a shell, platform and tools in the bed. I actually do worse on longer highway runs than I do commuting into and out of Boston daily. I'll drop to 17 MPG on long highway runs at just over 70 MPH.

yea, i notice that as well. i keep it between 70-75mph on the way to work. any slower, and it feels like your crawling with the lift and bigger tires. cruise control also kills MPG

haha... They look awsome, but I'll stick with these for now.

I've noticed a steep drop off over 70mph as well. What psi do you run on the street?

I'm OK with 20. That's not bad for a quad cab, V6 4x4 with the aerodynamic properties of a brick :D

I run around 34 PSI all around. Without the shell or any weight in the bed, I was running 34 up front and closer to 30 in the rear.

You have plenty of choices. This isn't just an election for the president...and for that you need to ask yourself is the past 4 years what you want (it may be), or do you want to try something new which may (or may not) turn out better with the options you are presented.

Just my thought. I don't want this thread to go in that direction (just stating the obvious since I went and voted).
