I'm hoping these clouds clear up, looks like rain. I rode the bike in today because it was almost 60 when I left the house. Hopefully I don't get rinsed off on the way home! The knobbie tires I have on the bike are pretty useless traction-wise on dry roads, I can't imagine having them on wet pavement.

There's good ways and bad ways for a lady to get knee burns. That is not a good way.

Nope, the rear is new, the tread on the shoulder is just very open so when you lean over, you have no contact surface. It slides out really easily. It's fun on dry roads because you can predict when it's going to happen and just slide through, not sure that would be the case in the rain and prefer not to find out. No way I can even come close to dragging a knee with my current tires, they give up well before then.

So unmotivated right now. Had both of the big garage type doors open at the gym this morning at 530am and it was so nice out. Looks like it's even nicer out now and I'm stuck inside.

Me too, had to vent this place out (a couple of the dismantlers stunk of gas). Have to door open and it's not helping with either the smell or my motivation.

When I laid mine down I'm pretty sure I did that too. Once it laid over all I could do was stiffen up, hang on, and watch for obstacles coming at me, so I probably looked just like that cat.

The first time out with this bike it happened to me and it was a butt-puckering moment. I was coming from the Katana which you could really lean over and by the time that bike slid, you were already screwed. It had been years since I'd been on a dirt bike at that point so it really took some getting used to.

I spent probably 2 months dragging my pegs on every corner I went around when I first bought my Suzuki. I'd always had sport bikes/standard bikes, and I wasn't used to having the pegs set so low.

    Probably the second 1

Edit: Now I'll ruin it for him and remind him that somewhere his daughter's walking across campus and some dirty old man is sitting on a park bench checking her out while he eats his lunch, lol.
