Noel, Mr tire guy. What do you run for tires in the summer on your Taco?

 

Dunlop Grandtrek AT20's, lol.
They're cheap, quiet, and they ride nice.

 

DANG MAN. That blows. At least you're OK. The truck is just a truck, it can be replaced. Hope everything from here on out goes smooth and easy with the entire process that takes place. Glad to hear you're OK though.

 

I had the worse luck with those tires. I was always getting flats with them. The worse was the last one when the tech handed me the pieces of glass that cut the tire down. There was 2 pieces of tempered glass that were 1/2 the size of a pea. I could tell it was tempered glass because there we no sharp edges. I took them and rolled them around in my hand and they were not sharp at all. That was the last straw. I'm surprised you still have them considering where you work. I guess if you're having good luck with them then why not. I didn't mind them except for the flats.

What are you going to do? Are you going to wheel it at all?

 

I liked my old bfg all terrains, the new ones look pretty cool to. Love the KM2 for its road and off driving, miss the xterrains for purely off-road.

 

Nothing too crazy but definitely some class 6 roads to get to my fishing spots. I want to go as big as I can at stock height so when I lift her a little it wont look stupid.

 

Meh. I haven't had any flats with them, so I haven't felt the need to change them yet. Plus they cost me all of $65 with my employee discount, so there's that, lol.

I've considered switching them out to a Wrangler AT Adventure for the summer, and I may when this set wears out, but those are literally twice as expensive ($136 with my discount). I might just go with Armortracs instead. Or I may end up selling the truck before then, too

 

Your thinking about selling your Tacoma? How come?

The '16's might be growing on me like the fungus on your dingus.
I'll probably give them a couple of years to work out the kinks because I don't want to be a beta tester, but...
The more I see them the more I like them, lol.

 

Wait for the diesel! That's my plan if it ever happens.

 

I'm with you. I plan to keep my truck for at least a couple of more years for them to get all the bugs out

 

A diesel would be nice, but I'm not going to hold my breath for one. Besides, the Tacoma's are too expensive already, without adding that diesel premium on there.

 

Although, I was pretty impressed with that Mustang I drove the other night...
Maybe I'll get one of those instead
