    I'm surprised your boss's camper isn't a tri-axle, that thing is a beast!

Your campsite looks just like ours. I found the screen sides for the EZ Up at Dick's last year for like $25, great investment!

I thought the same thing about his camper.

Did you notice the toaster oven and coffee pot on the dorm fridge? Lol. What time of year did you find the screens? I'd like to have those

Still wanting the Rockwood Roo 183 (I know what you said Mike but reviews on the Roo's are pretty darn good). It's 18' when closed up and weighs under 3900lbs dry. Open it up and it sleeps up to eight people.

Ha, I didn't notice that! One of my favorite things to do when camping is to fire up the outside stove top and get the percolator going.

I don't recall when I bought the screens, I thought it was in the beginning of the season, like this time last year.

I'm still on the fence about hybrids. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'd never own one, I just saw too many used and abused ones to make me feel comfortable about buying one.

Yup the stove is outside but it usually only used for boiling water, cooking beans or we have a griddle that fits on there perfectly so we use that for breakfast all the time. The pot is electric and only takes a minute to boil water so they are a great investment since we don't have to use our gas for it. Plus none of us really drink coffee, we all drink Tea. Most all our cooking is done on the little Weber grill (it's on in the picture, at the end of the picnic table). Thanks, I'll look for the screens at lunch time. There is a Dick's right down the street from my work.

What about the hi/lo in regards to reviews? How do they rate and can you get them with slide/pop outs

They are not very popular any more. IDK if they ever came with pop outs.

All you guys and your fancy campers - here is how we rough it (excuse the old truck):

Now that we have a little one though, seriously looking into a pop up camper. Easy to store and move around, but gotta see how much camping is in our near future first. The thought of taking a 3 week old anywhere is what my nightmares are made of.

Yup that is what happens Zack. Tenting turns into BIG tent then popup. Eventually you will get a TT and then a monster like Robs boss. Kids grow up and then you start down sizing.

Haven't come across them in my searches. I'm not sure if they're still making new camper or not. I did see some monster pop ups though, tandem axle!
My wife and I started there. Then we had a kid and bought a pop up. Then we had another and bought a travel trailer. I just so happen to know a guy selling a pop up that tows very well behind an F-150 :anonymous:

    No mods whatsoever!
Not big on the hybrid's. A travel trailer (21-26ft) with a slide-out is ideal size. Floorplan depends on needs (bunk beds, etc.). In addition to holding tanks, quality, and storage are equally important. Star Craft, Cruiser RV Fun Finders, and Lance are decent. We spend a lot of time outside, but I tend to get cabin fever during long periods of rain.

I hear you to each there own. I like sleeping under the tents plus it keeps the size of the trailer down for me. I have 4 kids so I have to have room for them all. The Rockwood Mini Lite 2505S or something like it is an OK trailer for me but again that is a bit longer so it's not as easy to transport.

Mike what is the dealership in PA you might be using?

Lerch RV and it's pretty much a done deal. I got the invoice and they marked it up a total of $125 on top of the quoted price for a temp plate and a document fee. I'll pay my tax and plate transfer when I get to MA which was expected but it was nice to see the invoice with no BS.
