Make sure you keep 'em rotated frequently. The ones I had back in the day cupped like mofos even though I rotated them every time I changed the oil (every 6k)

Hm... do you suggest other ones? I'm probably going to pick up another set of OEM 16" rims to put them on. Also need to sit down and decide what tire size to run since I don't plan on raising the truck anytime soon. Prob OEM sizing for now maybe a bit bigger on the sidewall

Shrug. I only ever ran one set. They were 31X10.50R15's on an old Nissan Hardbody and it was nearly 10 years ago that I was running them. I try not to judge based on it. They were great tires when they were new, awesome traction. Lousy gas mileage because they were so heavy and the truck was a 4-banger, and once they started cupping that was the end of it; they went bad in a hurry.

BUT; General's had 10 years (ish) to work on them, so they may be a totally different tire now. :notsure:

I can see this now... Rick will show up with the tires deflated and 1,000 lbs in the bed. 'See honey, he lifted his truck and it's lower than mine, nothing to worry about'

So the past week or So my truck has smelled pretty bad on startup from the hvac vents. I chalked it to hauling a few bags of manure for some planting we did last weekend. Finally it just got to smelling terrible when the hvac was on at all, like something died. So I pulled the cabin air filter and this was in there:

This dead guy fell out too:

Now my FJ doesn't smell quite so bad....

I dunno, but I'm going for a mountain bike ride. Hopefully I don't get zapped.

It rained here for a little while at lunch, that was it though. It started slow with those huge drops, like it was going to absolutely downpour, then it all went away in like 5 minutes.

Been a while since I've been on mine. Just need to put air in the tires and find some free time.
