I'm taking the side steps off today, I listed a bunch of shit on craigslist and am saving up for sliders. I figure I at least ought to get her on a trail before armoring her up

You'll be fine tomorrow with steps on. This place has all sorts of variations you can test limits and crawl rocks, off camber wooded stuff, mud, sandy hills, tight spots etc.

You can borrow my stock skids for the day if you want. They bolt up very easy. I could throw them on in the parking lot while we wait for rob to show up at noon

 

Nah, I'm all set. I'll just stay off the rocks. Do the Off Roads come skids that aren't stock on the SR5?

Yup ifs skid and transmission skid . I throw them in the back just incase you change your mind .

Oooh... those could be good to have. I might take you up on that one if you've got them with you. The transmission and transfer case seem semi-important to the truck's well being

 

Alright ill look around for the mounting bolts . It will give you peace of mind Incase there's a couple rocks you have to go over .
