That's a good idea, I've got a trickle charger I was thinking of sticking on there, but might as well see if its worth it first.

Try the trickle charger, because why not but I would venture to guess that it's NG. Let me know, I might have a battery that I can give you

Autozone will also do a full charge for free . Takes about a hour or so. I dropped my 4Runner battery off last month because I didn't start it all winter.

Not sure. Sometimes when I start her up, it starts but then immediately shuts off. I have to really crank it to get it to stay on. Scares the crap out of me every time!

Yes, changed them out at 60K

 

Did you check the gap?

 

Not really sure, I had my neighbor do it. He's pretty good with this kind of stuff. Is that something that would cause it to stall? Everything has been fine up until a couple days ago

 

IDK. Having a bad plug or a plug that is not gapped properly certainly can cause your engine to run rough. Once your truck is up and running it doesn't stall does it? Is it only when you 1st start it?

 

No, as soon as I get it started it runs great. Just at start up it'll randomly stall. As I said earlier it could very well be me not turning the key hard enough

It kind of sounds like you just bump the starter. Just try holding the key so the starter keeps working for just a moment longer, see if that helps. Let us know
