Not sticking up for the quickie places, but I had a dealer who did the same thing to one of my first cars long ago. Even at 17-18 I had a temper and nearly threw the manager through the front window.

My 2012 does that *only* after sitting at work all day, not sitting overnight at home. No codes thrown. Maybe 3 or 4 times a months. Just enough to annoy me.
When I bought my Merc Optimax a while ago, my dealer friend told me to count, thousand one, two and three before I would crank the engine after turning the key. You can hear all the clicks and noises of the fuel pump and injectors getting pumped up on the v6 outboard.
Started doing that on the truck when I'd get out of work. Haven't had a "false start" since. Maybe it has to do with the fuel system getting up to pressure. Just an idea.

I'll try that out. I usually put the key in and crank, I don't wait. But I'll see if they changes anything

I use the IR on my M8 too. Too bad the new HTC 10 doesn't have the IR blaster.

I drove a 2016 AccessCab 6AT last night at Copeland since I haven't even driven a 2016 yet even though mine is on order. I can completely understand why everyone is going nuts about the automatic transmission, it drove me nuts in the ~4 mile test drive I was on. It shifted and shifted and shifted and shifted.

The all-black interior is quite nice and definitely a step up from the light gray seats that the 2G used. I don't really care for the black headliner though as it gave the truck a claustrophobic feel. Mine will have the charcoal interior which I believe has the lighter headliner. The new interior looks great. The raised hoodline takes a bit away from visibility though.

The frame looks basically the same, but it does appear there are a few extra welds, etc on it. In person it does feel almost identical to the 2G, but yet completely different at the same time, it's weird to describe.

Regardless, I'm looking forward to getting my new one. The delivery schedule is somewhere in the 6/26 to 6/30 range, so not too far out. I get the Vette back from the dealer tomorrow hopefully ready to go. I'm really happy to not be driving my Mom's Forester anymore and just into a "Mike Appropriate" vehicle. Almost a month and a half in various cross-overs wears on you after awhile. Yep, first world problems at it's finest.

Maybe.... Actually yes I did. I made a mistake as I was at work and got distracted while typing. I quickly saw it and fixed it but you must have quoted me right after I fixed it. Lol
