I've got those old tin signs with them on the wall on my garage. One goes 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and the other goes 1-5-3-6-2-4

I'd get one for the motorcycle too, but it just goes 1-2 :notsure:

225 Slant Six for the plow truck.

That'll teach you to mock :brianr:

My Dodges have the 318 V8 and the 225 slant six. Not huge powerhouses, but absolutely unkillable.

Say what you will about Mopar; they were always known for their motors. :notsure:

Yeah, you are right about your engines being unkillable and also for the reputation of Mopar and their engines. Unfortunately, the reliability of the surrounding parts of the new models has marred that reputation.

Well it's not every day you get a girl to admit that she's crusty.

Been a problem ever since the Daimler-Chrysler days, really.

Bah. CPR training tonight. Stupid RN that teaches it makes us sit through the videos, then demonstrates the technique, then makes us practice, then shows us the AED and has us practice with that. THEN she lets us take the test.
I've been getting CPR certified every other year since I was 16. Just let me demonstrate the technique, take the paper test, and give me my damn certificate!
But nope. I've got to sit there for 2 hours trying not to fall asleep.

    Bitch.

Ha, I am young. But most people my age graduated college a few years ago with 100k in debt and have maybe found sustainable employment within the last two. I played my cards differently and I refuse to put myself in a situation where I may need to give away the benefits.

Yeah, right. You'd be one of those people who don't know what the heck they have for a truck. Saw an 80's K10 being advertised the other day as having a 351 Cleveland and a 5-speed in it, but the engine had valve covers that very obviously said 'Chevrolet' and it was clearly a column-shifted automatic. Those are the people to avoid buying things from, lol.

Edit- What's that IFS on there from, Bill?

Depends, sometimes those are exactly the people you want to buy from, the ones that have no idea what the actual value is of what they're selling. I bought my old CBR from a seller like that. Cosmetically, it was shot so he listed it cheap, he'd only had it a few months but after a little poking around, I found it had been gone through in it's day and had a lot of expensive aftermarket parts. I was able to buy it cheap because he had no idea what he actually had.
