I have to spend some time researching the ant mount for the jeep. I like the Wilson ant that Rob had. I also like the small uniden units. Most jeeps have the ant on the spare tire or rear bumper. I have read the best spot is on the front fender.

You should get one of those long whip antennas that the military uses. The ones that mount to the back bumper but are tied down to the front bumper for traveling. It could probably double as a flag mount.

 

My cousin had an 84 brand new and his 2 brothers were very young so they called it a Fire-o. Ironically it was before that was an issue with the car.

 

Fieros rule. I would love to find an unmolested one to clean up and toot around in.

 

I wanted the front to back tied down whip... But opted against it haha

 

Anyone got any fun plans for the weekend?

Tonight we are having some friends over and then tomorrow checking out a wedding venue and going to her younger sisters softball tournament. Nothing real exciting..

 

Celebration of a deceased friend's life tomorrow. Going to be sad..

 

Those are the best for reception. Can't beat a 102" whip for a CB. Inconvenient as hell on a DD, though, haha!
