Its definitely not a squeak like that it literally sounds like a tin can dragging on the ground for a second but the weird part is it doesn't do it all the time.

Are you sure it's the tranny? The heat shields in that area are good for coming loose or falling off.

I wasn't thinking tranny, more the clutch I guess. There's literally no difference in how it drives other than the little rattle noise at takeoff from a stop.

Yeah that's when my heat shield on the drivers side would rattle, only at take off. Two of the bolts rusted off.

Definitely sounds like a heat shield. There is one that's pretty far up on the exhaust.

I'll have to head back under tomorrow and check again. Are there any back under the bed too? I only checked the area under the cab.

Now I can be jealous of your shortness, as I'm pretty sure I can't fit in any of those Lotus cars.

I think he means the RX8 and the non-luxury Audi just behind the yellow Lotus

Made an account a little while back, but haven't posted anything. Figured I'd just add a picture of my truck. From the greater Rutland, VT area.

I saw this car at Chevy's Ice Cream. The person driving it sure is interesting too.
