Why do I have this vision of piles of broken CV's in my yard?

The struggle is real

 

Just use less foot or go with the lefty as it's less torque. I wasn't exactly thrilled with the change from 355 or what ever I had to 456. Front locker was awesome. But with the v6, MT and 456s I could run 35s but before the crawler I would still stall out in the same places and they didn't help bring power on the highway. I just redline faster still accelerates the same.

Crawler is wicked fun defiantly better than the gears.

I agree . 4.7 gears in my tcase was the best upgrade I've done.

 

12:1 double low range

 

Even over geared with 33s and 456s not low enough off road and not low enough to make any real difference on the road. Stalling out every time I bumped a rock drove me nuts. I only did gears because I broke the ring gear though and it was more of a when in Rome type thing. The front locker and crawler are the two best things. Well after sliders I think.

If you look close at his passenger rear door you can see why he did it. It was the paint it and the wife may not notice what happened to the DD. I agree it looks awesome though.

 

hahah oops! did see that crunch. cant believe that things a DD, especially with those SS IROK's or whatever they are Lordy lord, gas mileage must be abysmal, those tires are friggin heavy! was def looking into them but weight was makin me cringe... v6, MT, pushing 33's, stock gearing can be quite the dog sometimes, and my BFG KO's are probably the most forgiving in that size, but of course lack the big bite

 

Those are wheeling tires. He had 35 cooper mud terrains for DD and trails with more driving.

 

2 sets of tires .... now I'm back in pipe dream land It really makes sense though...

 

Just got my heated mirrors kit in the mail!!!! Anyone want to help me install it? I'm clueless with electrical stuff.

 

Gotta love it with the 35" M/Ts are the 'responsible' DD tire.

 

With that kit, it's an EASY job. I did mine and helped @Unchained 5150 with his a few weeks later. There's nothing to it really.

 

I'm a damn fool when it comes to DIY stuff on the truck, even with instructions. I'll have to check it out
