wow thats a cool guide, hadn't seen that yet! i remember watching a youtube of marlin working out what ratio he was in to a bystander and was like WTF

man that got me looking at the Dual Ultimate Overkill Crawler, w/ 5.29, would be ratio of 459:1 "A ratio this low might only be needed in extremely rare, and possibly never to be found circumstances." ....yeah

I am at 108 to 1 in the crawler and it is fairly useless. You start losing wheel speed quickly.

My sister was home from Australia and we went through my dads storage unit to clean it out. Found a lot of old cool stuff. This bible was printed in 1802 . Also found a 20mm round from 1945 .

 

That might be next up for me when I ditch the evo..

 

The gearing is almost too low, you wind the motor up and aren't going anywhere. Sometimes you want wheel speed to help maintain momentum while climbing up stuff.
