In the 3rd gen section, take a look through the "What are you paying" thread and the prices for new trucks in So Cal are just plain stupid. For the cash they are throwing around, I probably wouldn't end up with a Taco

 

Might be worth it for them to take a scenic trip to NE and buy a Tacoma while they're here. Sounds like it would be cheaper.

 

From around last November to about April this year couple times a week people were posting about how they were going from So Cal to Colorado, Arizona, or Texas just to get a 2016 truck at a decent price.

 

I've never been to Cali. Seems like it would be a nice state to visit, but no to live unless you're rich, and don't own anything that generates emissions or bullets.

I'd do it. Hell, I drove 8-9 hours to save a couple thousand on a camper. Why not, you're buying it to drive anyways. Nothing like a good road trip to get acquainted with your new truck!

We have been renting a connect van for work with the same cluster.. It appears to me that you have the cruise on and it is set to 67 on the digital, but have slowed down... So I'm not sure what is wrong.

 

Thats what I'm talking about! All anyone does in Cali is drive anyway, and sit in traffic Dang left coasters

 

I can't comment on that. I've heard some of the large cities in CA have legendary traffic but lately Boston hasn't exactly been a picnic either. Seems to keep getting progressively worse by the year. I'm sitting in traffic at 5:30 AM on my way in and still hitting traffic at 7 PM when I leave.
