It's a 2008 Mission and I held out for a long time but today I accepted his firm price of $3,500. I had it in my head that a great deal would be $2800 and I didn't want to spend more than $3200. This same trailer I could buy new and have in 2 weeks for $6,000 and this is 8 years old. But it's in great condition and this guy barely used it, so whatever, I agreed to his $3500. Just can't find these small, single axle 12' inline trailers used, kinda a unicorn.

I'll be at the Grass Drags this Saturday late afternoon and will be camping there Saturday night. We already dragged the camper over the other day. On Sunday afternoon I'll be working the cook trailer, so come over and ask for Geoff if you are there!

Another "like" tossed in the tip jar...

With a trap door in the floor, you'd have a towable fish house!

Maybe it's because I'm from the south, but driving out on the ice scares the crap outta me. No way you'd catch me doing it! Y'all're crazy!

I've been in a truck that broke through and sunk. Not mine thankfully. Since that day 20 years ago I will not drive my truck on the ice. Not even if it's 3' thick. Ice is weird man, it does weird shit and it's never safe.

This story had better not go "I was in a truck, and it broke through the ice and sank"

I don't know what you want to hear, it's pretty simple, it was my buddy and his Chevy 1500 with bald tires on Lake Winnisquam near the Sanbornton Town Beach. The front broke through real fast but it took a good 3 or 4 minutes for the rest of it to go and it did go completely under. We were able to get out of the truck no problem but it was a sphincter tightening moment putting that first foot on the ice while the truck is slowly sinking and water is flooding the whole area! Apparently it was in 40' of water which is a lot to recover a vehicle. $12,000 bill that insurance took care of, plus the total loss of the truck. Yes, insurance does cover your vehicle if it goes through the ice. Sucked! I'll ask my buddy if he still has pics of that debacle.

    Yeah, but...

Seriously, though, I wouldn't want that. I barely even take my crappy old ski doo Elan out on the ice, let alone a vehicle. Nope.

Hey folks, I got a hand me down CB radio last week! Fun!

I have it all mounted and ready to be wired in and I'm wondering if anyone has a SWR meter that I can use to tune it. Obviously I could come to you.

I'm hoping to get it done by Friday so I can use it Saturday on an ENH run.

    Thank you!
