It's brutal. On my way in I was trying to remember the last time I had a smoke detector chirp that wasn't in the middle of the night, and honestly can't remember one not happening in the middle of the night.
I usually have the batteries on hand, but I didn't realize I had used the last of the 9V's. Good thing for 24 hr CVS a mile away.

^^I had batteries but this one is way up there. had to get out the big ladder. replaced the battery then it went thru the test cycle. I was wide awake. got one with a ten year battery and moved this one to the basement. I'm sure in 9 years 11 months and 29 days at 3 am it will chirp

Nah OEM is still better. I think NAPA is better than the vatozone ones, but still.doesnt have the range of motion or tolerances that toyota does.

I'd love to but... I have 170 unread e-mails because I took Friday off and we were closed yesterday. Going to be a really long day getting caught up!

Pretty much! There are probably 30 that actually need a response from me, the rest get the FU button.

    Thanks!

That's a slow day also. I can get upwards of 300 in any given day.

If I take a day off I've generally got around 800 emails to weed through when I get back. Probably 90% of them are irrelevant chatter from the rest of the company (returns, web orders, etc), but that just makes it harder because the sheer volume makes it difficult to sort out the important stuff.
