Oh, gotcha. I thought they were the same mirrors that Rob sells. I'll keep them on my wish list.

No, I have a F150. I'd actually buy mirrors like the ones Rob sells if they would fit my truck. As much as I dislike Dodge, I think that tow mirror set up is the balls.

Everyone enjoying the foliage? Tell ya one thing, I sure am sick of the leaf peepers. They're horrible this year.

Makes sense. If the truck is bad enough to not be salvageable, the seat air bags are probably blown anyway.

I am for now. I don't want to sell it, but I could use the money. She's staying in the driveway this year, it seems.

Might as well keep it.. I don't know at this point :notsure:

    That's just plain unacceptable.

The trick is to not let them know you have alcohol. Use a mug. Lots of coffee and whiskey. The breakfast drink of 'Muricans! :oldglory:

Make sure you run it every so often so the carbs don't get all messy again. That was ultimately why I sold it, it sat for a long time and I was spending more time tinkering with it than riding it. If you ride regularly, or even semi regularly, that bike is a solid bike. It doesn't seem to like to sit though (keep in mind I let it sit for almost 2 years).

She has a full tank with techron and stabil. I make sure I run it for a while to clear the bowls. I wish the petcock had an off position.

Currently at idle I am having fuel leaking on the left side from the carb. Gotta mess with that.

Otherwise it runs really well, and I'm terrified to go above 9,500rpm lol.

I do miss that bike's willingness to rev. That bike pulls hard above 4,500 RPM.

HARD! That thing is fast as hell! I love it, but I also don't wanna die. I don't think I've broken more than 80-85mph on it.

My gripe with it is the comfort when riding 2-up with Ari. It's not as comfortable as my CBR was. Seat is harder, the riding position is awkward. I ditched the raised handlebar kit. That got the pressure off my wrists and made the side mirrors actually useful to me. I wish the foot controls were further back. You can't really lay down on it.

It has been years since I was in the construction side of the business and I never need an OSHA card. I am in the second day of OSHA 10 online testing. I am running calls and services in between the mandatory 10 hours of DRY, BORING, MONOTONE class

If you pulled the handlebar kit, you could probably sell it on Katriders.com. That was actually an expensive kit, somewhere in the $300+ range. The kit was the risers, brake line and handlebars. I wouldn't recommend swapping the brake lines out but you could probably sell the rest of the kit for $100-$150ish if you wanted to. To get the pegs further back would be a bit of an issue. They make sport bike peg relocation kits, but I haven't seen one for the Katana since it's not really considered a racer. Everything was generally geared toward the GSXR.
I hated that class and I hate that it made sure it actually took 10 hours to complete. I could have read the slides and answered the questions in about 2 hours but I guess it's geared toward the lowest common denominator...

I am not looking forward to the 30 class. I may take it at the hall if I can talk my boss into picking up my time

Is there even an option to take the 30 hour online?
