Pretty sure all of the 4Runners have roofs...

 

I almost bought a white v8 sr5 with 3rd row instead of my fj. But the wife.actually insisted I get the fj as it's what I actually wanted and much cooler. It was like $4k cheaper though, so I would have modded it right away instead of waiting a few months after telling myself it would stay stock...

 

1st gens had removable roofs...

In some parts of the country, it means I bought an old beater and it still has a roof.

They are just like jeep, it's basically a toyota pickup with removable fiber glass topper.
