Gotta make sure you cut your grass super short for the winter, and that will help with the leafs not getting stuck to the grass.

That model stihl is bad ass. My buddy and I were cutting grass and doing fall cleanups for a few summers/falls and that's what he had.

Yup. The few times I buy power equipment, I get the pro grade stuff. I bought this to replace two toro brand leaf blowers that I got second hand. Both were junk. The backpack would run great until you put it on and then it would die. Aggrevating to no end. The hand held would run for about 15 minutes and die. I think the previous owner ran it without oil and then sold it at the tag sale. The BR 600 was only 50 more than the "homeowners" model (after dealing on price). For that difference, why not? As you noted, it moves leaves... As for the vacuum, the engine let go yesterday. It's burning about as much oil as gas - the smoke keeps the mosquitos at bay. :anonymous:

Adam, the lift looks great. How much of a lift is it?

Happy Monday all. First week of the fall when the sun sets early. So much for being able to get some stuff done outside after work! I could run DST year round...

Standard time in winter is garbage. I'll take darkness while I drive to work for light in the evening any day.

Wouldn't help you, @Noelie84 , but earlier this year MA was in talks about moving to the Atlantic Time Zone and doing away with daylight saving/standard time. It comes up every year, but it got further this year than any previous..

It's not a huge deal on the weekends, but during the week it really sucks. Right now it's still light out in the AM when I get to work, but in another couple of weeks it'll be dark when I drive in, and dark when I get out of work. The sun and I will have a weekend visitation thing going on, lol.

I wouldn't mind sticking with Atlantic, to be honest. It's dark when I wake up anyway, so I'd gladly trade that extra hour in the AM for some light after work. :notsure:

Isn't it so the kids don't get hit by cars in the am?

If they'd stop dressing like Nijas and standing in the street we wouldn't have any issues...
