Alright guys. After I started this hole thing about the sliders, I figured I would go in on a set. Tried ordering it right now will bill me later and got declined . I have no idea why. I have good credit and everything. Dammit!!!!!! I really wanted a set. I kind of dont have the whole 380 so I wanted to do the bill me thing and cant!!!! I hate missing out on a good deal.

 

Call Jerry, he might do a down payment now and balance right when they ship kind of thing.

 

Oh, I will have to contact him and see. Missing out on this deal would deff suck.

 

Damn that sucks! I got approved for 500 through billmelater and ended up not using it. Do you use paypal? Maybe thats why i got aproved. I have decent credit but only because school loans and car payments, i dont even own a credit card.

 

Ya someone else ran into that issue. They said they had good/great credit but got declined, the feedback was not enough paypal use so they didnt give him credit. I would def call Jerry

Had to go back 5 pages for this post from this morning lol. I might take you up on that, i have been wanting to give my tailgate a facelift. Would you be interested in one of those small trd badges? I have a chrome one sitting in my basement and i have no use for it. I also have another one that i painted black on my tailgate that is probably coming off soon. PM coming

Hey guys (Goufcustom) Mike is looking for alittle help. He is in MD but travels to NJ and is thinking about getting in on our group shipping. Does anyone travel south enough that they may be able to relay his sliders. I have in laws in NJ but dont travel down enough to give an idea of time

 

I would grab them from north attleboro or Boston for him if he wants to make the trip to CT. Still a haul for him but closer than Boston. I usually work in southeastern CT. If he is interested tell him to PM me.

Hey, what town in CT? Looks like it would be about 250 to 300 miles round trip for me, so it would just be a matter of what split shipping came to. And then timing.

 

After Jan, I will likely be in NJ every other weekend, maybe every 3rd weekend, to arrange for a pickup on a Saturday. I am usually in NJ from Friday night till Sunday morning, have to get back to MD for work.

 

Once the sale is over and Jerry gives an estimated date of delivery I would have a better idea of when we would be going down to NJ

 

Im in madison, right off of 95. About 15-20 minutes away from new haven. I work all over the state and during weekdays i am usually in fairfield county, sometimes as far south as greenwich and stamford which isn't far from the city.

 

NYC Tacomaworld meet? Lol. My buddy has a place in nyc and my girlfriend takes classes on saturdays at NYU. I might be able to make a weekend out of it depending on timing.

 

Well, I'm pissed at the service guys but the story is too long to type. Long story short, the dumbass put a hold on the service to have the warranty rep come out and look at it even though at 8:30 this morning I called and said "I want to forgo the warranty, just fix it so I can get home" yet the service rep (Darnell at Holman Toyota/Scion in Mount Laurel, NJ) put the hold on it anyway, saying that his manager wouldn't let him lift the hold. I'm mighty pissed about that. Lee has been gracious to let Sarah and I stay at his house, but I'm not looking at moving down here! I WANT TO GO HOME GOD DAMN IT.

So they want $1,007.33 for rear rotors and pads, and to flush and fix the transmission. I called major bullsh*t and demanded Darnell's manager. He was rather apologetic after I told him what is going on. I'm getting a discount. It's my damn vehicle and it will be fixed how I say, not what they think is best.

I remember Toyota service being enjoyable...
