I've had good luck at the dealer getting tires mounted, and they are pretty cheap, like $20/ tire iirc with road force.balancing. I got my KO2s from DTD and the wifes cooper atw's mounted at the dealer.

If you order from tire rack and have them sent to a firestone or whatever, they give you a discounted rate for mounting and balancing

Thanks John! Maybe I'll look at something else, as these are primarily going to be used for winter driving.

I had the techs at two diff dealers fuck up my trd or wheels doing tire rotations like they were qualifying for a nascar pit crew. So I stopped having them do rotations/tire mounting.

Yeah I was hoping for the same thing. idk if it was just because we got dumped on with the super heavy snow, and it just doesnt like that thick slush, but they did struggle to grip, even in 4wd. I'm gonna run them for the winter and probably next year swap out for something else. The price is what sold me on them when i got them in September.

I still had my KM2s on when that storm hit. The truck wouldn't stop for anything. slid though two 4 way stops. I am thinking of re-grooving them now that they are about half worn. They really weren't this bad last year.

Everything I've ever shot that was MA compliant had a very long heavy trigger pull. My buddy's S&W Shield has a totally different trigger than mine. :notsure:

Yeah MTs seem to suffer in the snow. Getting them Sipped will def help though. I dropped down my tire pressure in the hopes that will help

On paper they looked good, and they have the severe snow flake rating on them. See how the rest of the winter pans out for them though

Get the full APEX trigger kit that replaces the S&W hinged trigger. It is awesome!

No, I didn't have them shipped to a Firestone store. I had them shipped to NTB, the quote when I checked out from Tire Rack was $88 to have them installed and they were the cheapest (they even have mobile shops that will come to you and install the tires in your driveway). When I actually got to NTB, they only charged me $54 but I think that was because I brought them just the wheels so they didn't have to use their lift or unbolt the wheels from the vehicle.

I really like the cooper atw that are on the wifes T4R. They are basically an at3 with a shit load of siping. I think they look better than the at3s too. They were great last winter, and I'd be willing to bet we get the full 55k miles out of them
