I'm pretty bummed about all the things now available on a similar taco that I couldn't get in mine. That said though I love my truck and wouldn't upgrade unless something happened to it

 

Like if it got rained on...

 

They're much better cars than they used to be. I would never own one because of depreciation, but I'd consider doing a cheap lease for a work car

 

Any of you guys happen to have Volvo VIDA DICE?

I picked up a loaded '06 XC70 super cheap with a few issues. I've fixed everything except the AWD. Narrowed it down to (I think) the DEM or the REM, neither of which is super expensive to get rebuilt, but it'd be cool if I could scan the thing to see if I'm wrong and the DEM is live and throwing a code or if it can't see it at all.

I was going to fix the issues and resell it, but I've fallen in love with the thing. The seats are easily the most comfortable I've ever experienced in any vehicle. I also used to have Outbacks that I loved and it's similar to those. The turbo I5 is much more impressive than I expected too. Basically makes peak torque off idle so while it's not fast, it feels very responsive just driving around.

 

They probably can and will. But if I didn't have to get a prescription for it, I could just take 5 minutes and stop at Rite Aid instead of having to sit at the urgent care place for an hour or more. And if they prescribe an antibiotic, I'll have to go to Rite Aid anyway, lol.

 

What a pain

 

Not sure why you need a prescription for a tetanus shot anyway; not like they have to worry about people WANTING to get that one. Last time I got a booster my arm was sore for 2-3 days where I got the shot.

 

Rebecca is correct, they're not the same pieces of shit they used to be. The new ones are nice for a relatively inexpensive car but you have to plan to run it into the ground. They aren't worth a lot after a few years but they seem to last much better than the old ones.

 

There might be issues if you have too many in a short amount of time.

Very, I remember the 80's ones that puked the rings at 50k and made a nice mosquito killer..or if anyone else remembers the Excel being prone to rollovers.

My mom has a 07 Elentra and it is a nice car. Only 30k too and I'm shocked it has that much

 

Exactly. If leasing a loaded up optima was enough less than leasing a loaded accord, and it was just a work car, I'd take a kia our Hyundai. If I were to go that route I'd probably choose the Chevy cruz over all of them. That's my favorite rental car
