Yea I mentioned earlier in the thread this is the first NE winter for me so it will definitely be a learning experience to say the least. How would the bfg 265/65/r17 t/a stand up for the snow around here?

regarding winter driving this morning was total mayhem in my town. Little bit of black ice had a bunch of minor accidents, one serious and one fatal... is going 80 instead of 60 and getting to work 3 minutes early really worth becoming a cross on the side of the highway?

Agree with the moron part whole heartedly. When ever schools and businesses let out early in RI, I just stay at work for another 2 or 3 hours to let all the idiots get off the road. Then it's clear driving to get home.

In my experience an A/T tire will get you there, if it's got the severe weather symbol it'll be pretty good too but I've always gone for a dedicated snow tire. I'm currently running Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 snows on my truck.

I do drywall but work with a big prefab steel building manu. in Fitchburg, MA called DR Poulin Construction. They can do the whole thing, slab, electric, prefab building. I'm betting on $75-100 a sq ft with permits, excavation, slab, electric and prefab metal clearspan building. Weathertight for $45-60 grand.

Got room for a shed? Some of them are more than big enough as a garage.

I might be way out to lunch, I'm a commercial estimator so if you find a residential guy it may be a lot less. But I bet you will be surprised.

They build them out of wood instead of steel, for starters...

Steel will cost more than a traditional framed garage I suspect. One of the prefab drop and then pour the foundation in after will probably be the cheapest.

Right, she mentioned prefab steel which is expensive. Find a backyard builder and build in wood. Just shipping a prefab steel building can be $8k or more.

I know it's nc, but down there I have friends that tear houses down and rebuild for 30k. I didn't think a garage would be that much unless it was a pimp set up

I was thinking as it got bigger a metal one would be cheaper but I'll look back into a wood one
