With something like that at the dealer, I would've just called in, let them know the situation and left it at that. If they wanted to make things right and offer something, then take them up on it. The older I get and more experience I have with service industry workers, I tend to not have patience with bad service but I am just as quick to point out and reward great service. Rare as that is sometimes.

Well I plan to spend the time in a nice warm bar with whiskey to warm me up! It's not like I'll be walking around outside much.

Oi. Me either.
I've been sober since...Saturday night. Or, more accurately, Sunday Morning...

But really, I drank enough Saturday to last me all week (open bar at the company holiday party=all of the Knob Creek I can drink!), so maybe I'll make it to Saturday this week!

I'm still rehydrating, after all.

 

I have been sober for a while now. But my tolerance makes it tough to change that. Hopefully this Friday!

 

Our company Christmas party is this "Friday night. Steak w/shrimp or Salmon, open bar, DJ the whole works. Then off to my buddies house

I agree with others, leave a review and be done with it. Stupid mistake but I wouldn't say anything shady or ill intent was happening.

 

My company doesn't do holiday parties anymore - gotten WAY too big. Each department does their own thing.
In January though, we rent the Hynes for our Sales Kickoff for a week for our Worldwide Sales departments. The Monday of that week everyone in the company is invited that night to a huge party they throw. Last year they had 5 or 6 carnival rides in one of the Convention halls for us.
